Tara was enjoying her time at Mega Con in Orlando, Florida. She decided that this was the first time she would show off months of crafts work. The college girl wore her Gardevoir costume proudly. From her high-heeled white boots to her normally hair brunette hair dyed green and stylized into curves, she closely resembled her favorite Pokémon. Her oval face helped with this as well.

The crowning achievement was her hand-sewn dress that was a cross between a kimono and a ballroom gown. It had the billowing sleeves of a kimono, but the length of a ballroom gown. Instead of Gardevoir's red horn, she had a red bow on the front and the back of her dress tying up her corset that hugged the garment close around her torso.

She was not a fan of sitting down for hours with makeup, so she just crafted a leather harlequin mask with feather frills to enhance her mystique! At least that was her intent since she had to wear a nametag. A pair of soft green gloves completed the ensemble. The weather helped her decision on going without make up at all aside form a little blush and mascara. The heat was so stifling she tried to stay within the confines of the con floor as much as she could. As such, she had many pictures taken of her either on her own or with others. She did not mind though as it was quite fun! She decided to head over to the food court to quell her rumbling stomach. She got herself some Subway and waved to all the children who greeted her.

Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder. A man with glasses stood behind her smiling. He was dressed up like a professor. "Hello there Miss Gardevoir. Mind posing for a picture?"

"Sure!" Tara replied gladly always eager to show off her handiwork, "Who are you dressed as?"

"Professor Weber, Pokemon scientist, an OC of mine. Yes, I know it's not a tree name, but let's face it I can stomach all of the Nurse Joy's being from one family just with crazy genetics but I don't know about every officer being a Jenny unless they are clones or something!"

Tara nodded smiling in amusement, "I know right? I think Nintendo is either lazy or trolling. But don't tell that to the fifty Jennies around here, they might cuff you."

They both laughed as they went out of the food court towards a less populated part of the mall.

"Alrighty, let me pull out my camera here." Weber said once they reached a secluded spot. He reached into his pocket checking over his shoulders. Tara struck a pose in preparation. However, he pulled out a pokeball instead.

"Very funny." Tara said dryly, "Do I get a pokedex too Professor or do I have to go out into the grass to get one?"

Weber gave her a smirk, "No, Pokémon do not get such things. That is for the trainers. But there is one thing that the trainers do not have."

Tara broke her pose rather confused, "And that is?"

"A Pokémon." Weber answered as he tossed the ball over to her. To the Garde-girl's surprise, it opened and a red glow shot out of it like in the anime! However, unlike the anime, the red glowing string from the ball manifested as red ribbons of hard light that wrapped around her right hand and coiled around her legs.

Tara's eyes widened as the ribbons wrapped her up as fast as lightning. "He-mpph!"

She tried to reach up with her left hand to tug the ribbons off her mouth as she grunted and wriggled against them, but they were as thin and durable as light itself. Worse yet, she found herself tugged towards the ball!

Tara tried to dig in her heels, but the ribbons pulled her so hard and so fast that she lost her footing. She fell onto her backside and could only stare in horror as she was pulled towards the ball. She fought for her life trying to stop the tugging or break her bonds, but she was fighting against light and it was a losing battle. The world grew larger around her as she approached the device and she cried out against the gag desperate for anything to intervene, "Mph! Mph!"

The shrinking girl's last sight before she was pulled completely into the ball was Professor Weber's smiling face as he readjusted his glasses. "Don't worry, I take good care of my collection."
This is for Solidzesnake and Spiderweber's pokemonth!

Gotta catch 'em all!
